In addition to the many announcements on Battlefield 6 multiplayer, EA and Battlefield Studios have announced another novelty at tonight's event: a free-to-play Battle Royale mode, unrelated to the main game and downloadable by everyone like CoD: Warzone.

No further details have been released, but this mode will be playable as early as the next few weeks in Battlefield Labs, the initiative that allows the community to participate in the development of the new Battlefields.
