Team Cherry has so far kept Hollow Knight fans on the edge of their seats: since its announcement in 2019, we've seen and heard very little about the highly anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong. Recent movements on the game's Steam page suggest that a major update may finally be upon us, though.

The SteamDB page of Hollow Knight: Silksong has in fact received a series of significant updates in recent days, and they do not seem to be simple marginal tweaks: we are talking about substantial news that could be a prelude to an imminent announcement.

These changes include the addition of Achievements, the inclusion of new game files, a new Steam logo, and several other changes. As if that were not enough, the already released trailer of the game would also have received an official recommended age rating for players. Given the proximity of the Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Games Showcase, it is difficult not to interpret these signals as the arrival of possible announcements at one of the two events. We remind you that the game will be available at launch in the Game Pass, so it is possible that Microsoft's event will see the announcement of the game's release date and, we like to dream of it, maybe even a shadowdrop!
