Here's a decidedly unexpected announcement from tonight's TGA: Elden Ring returns, but as a multiplayer title. Bandai and FromSoftware have in fact announced Elden Ring Nightreign, a 3-player cooperative stand-alone title, which will see us live new adventures together with our friends.

Elden Ring Nightreign is a standalone adventure set in the ELDEN RING universe, created to offer a new gaming experience.

Join forces with other players to face the dangers lurking in the night. It includes up to 3-person co-op mode, champions with unique abilities, and relentless threats.

• Together - Join forces with other players to face the creeping night and the dangers within it, thanks to three-player co-op play.
• Become a Hero - Take command of heroes with unique abilities, each possessing their own skills and talent. While they are powerful individually, their abilities become even more formidable when they join a team.
