It's been a while since we had news of Black Myth: Wukong, the fascinating action-adventure set in the world of Chinese mythology in which we play Sun Wukong, the famous Monkey King who inspired anime and manga such as Dragon Ball and Starzinger; now on the occasion of the Chinese New Year, the game Science studio updates us on the release period of the game.

The studio has in fact published a nice trailer (below) at the end of which we find out that the game is expected for summer 2024. So there is still a long wait!

We remind you that Black Myth: Wukong is an action-adventure with a strong emphasis on storytelling and exploration. In the game we will play the character of Sun Wukong, the monkey king, through a series of settings inspired by Chinese mythology. The game features a dynamic combat system that uses a variety of weapons and abilities, including Sun Wukong's divine powers. It will use a non-linear narrative system, which will allow us to choose how to progress in the story and freely explore the game environment, in addition the game presents a crafting system and customization of weapons and skills, which will allow us to adapt our character to our game preferences.
