Prime Matter and the independent studio Brass Token have released today a 4-minute video in which the developers illustrate us, with Italian subtitles, the gameplay mechanics of The Chant, a horror-supernatural adventure coming on November 3rd.

The title combines survival, action and exploration mechanics to create a unique "cosmic horror" experience, where the "Mind, Body and Spirit" system influences both the action and the story. The actions we take will affect the balance between these elements, and determine how the story of The Chant ends. But fighting or fleeing is also critical to surviving as you balance resources, spiritual weapons, and abilities against the creatures and cultists who emerge from the dimensional threat that has invaded the remote island where the game is set.
