BioWare announces Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, more info later this year

BioWare announced today that the official name of Dragon Age 4 is Dragon Age: Dreadwolf; the team has confirmed that the game will not arrive in 2022, but during the year there will be new updates on the title. In the meantime here you are below when they have to tell us about the title.

Our Next Adventure - Dragon Age: Dreadwolf

Our next game now has an official name. We know you've been eagerly awaiting new details, and today we're excited to reveal the official title of the next adventure in the lands of Thedas: Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.

Who is the Dread Wolf?

Solas, the Dread Wolf. Some say he may be an ancient elven god, but others say no. Others say he is a traitor to his people... or a savior who now seeks to save him at the cost of your world. His motivations are inscrutable and his methods sometimes questionable, so much so that he earns him a reputation as a cheating deity, the protagonist of dark and dangerous games.

Whether you're new to Dragon Age stories or have experienced them all, the use of Solas' name undoubtedly suggests a spectrum of endless possibilities as to where things can go. But at the heart of this, as of all past games, are you. If you're new to Dragon Age, you don't have to worry about not having met our antagonist yet. It will present itself correctly at the right time, but we mentioned its return when we announced #TheDreadWolfRises in 2018.

More about Dragon Age: Dreadwolf later in the year

We suspect that you have questions and that they will be answered in due course. Although the game won't be released this year, we're getting closer to the next adventure. Rest assured that Solas is placing her pieces on the board as we speak. That's all we have for now, but hopefully knowing the official title has sparked a bit of curiosity, because we'll be talking about the game again later this year!
