Disney worlds and characters collide in the F2P Disney Dreamlight Valley simulation

Developer French Gameloft has announced the development of the free-to-play simulation title for families and children Disney Dreamlight Valley, coming for free in 2023 but playable as early as this summer in early access with the purchase of a Founders Pack or included in Xbox Game Pass.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley players will embark on an enchanting quest to restore a once idyllic village, now desolate and full of brambles after a mysterious event called The Forgetfulness. We will have to discover the mysterious secrets that have brought us to this new world, exploring different kingdoms inspired by the classic Disney and Pixar worlds, while helping the inhabitants of the city to recover their lost memories. Players will meet and build friendships with beloved characters from the worlds of Mickey Mouse, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Moana, Toy Story, Wall-E and more, immersing themselves in a multitude of unique and personalized story arcs and enjoying activities with some of the most memorable characters from the Disney worlds, such as cooking a delicious Disney-themed dish together with Remy of Ratatouille inside the village restaurant, fish with Goofy or grow vegetables from Wall-E's garden.

Players will be able to design the Disney and Pixar villages of their dreams through multiple unique biomes, ranging from the snow-capped mountains of Frosted Heights to the Peaceful Meadow and beyond – with a wealth of customization options for their avatars, homes, and villages. The game will feature an ever-changing list of Disney-inspired prom dresses, Mickey Mouse-decorated street dresses, Frozen-inspired antique kitchens, and more.

We leave you to the announcement trailer and a set of images.
