Following a ransomware attack on Capcom's internal systems by the hacker group Ragnar Locker, data would be released that would reveal interesting news related to the new Resident Evil Village. In particular, it would be the release period of the game,which according to the leaked would fall at the end of April 2021 and, moreover, capcom's intention to release a demo of the game a few weeks before the release in stores.

But not only that: always according to the leak, the game would also include a multiplayer mode separate from the main story, codename Dominion and which may have - it is thought - battle royale elements.
