Obsidian today announced the achievement of two important milestones for the "miniature" survival game Grounded:the game, currently still in Game Preview, has reached 5 million players showing great interest from the public despite it is still incomplete, and today the largest update released so far has been released: the Pond of Koi Carp.

The new update radically translates the pond area into the map by adding new aquatic creatures, terrifying spiders capable of walking on the surface of the water and of course the beautiful Koi carp. New recipes are also coming in that will allow us to build tools useful for underwater exploration, such as a trident, a waterproof lantern, a respirator and so on.

The game also updates with optimizations for Xbox Series X and S with 60fps frame-rate, better visual distance, higher shadow quality and of course fast loading times.
