Crash Bandicoot 4 It's About Time: what's new and demonstrated gameplay

Activision has announced a series of news on Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, the first original episode of the series to arrive after 22 years from the previous one. What's new is a new game mode, a new playable character, and new skins, complete with a 5-minute demonstration that shows us everything in action.

The new mode announced is called N.Verted, and it is a "mirror" mode that modifies the levels of the game, both graphically for speed/difficulty, to allow us to replay them in altered form. In this mode we will be transported in new dimensions that will offer us alternative perspectives, sound effects, music and further transformations of the experience. Here we can master every world by earning Bumpa berries instead of Wumpa fruits and accumulating more rewards.

The new playable character is the crocodile Dingodile, which we can control by making our way through the crates and that is added, in addition, of course to Crash, to the already announced Coco in the set of characters that we can control. After Crash Bandicoot: Warped,Dingodile has hung his old rocket launcher/flamethrower on the wall and retired from a life of wickedness. But now he's back and has a job on hold, descending from space and time to another dimension where his adventure to get home begins.

Challenging to further customize Crash, developer Toys for Bob has revealed that there will be new Crash and Coco skins that will be unlocked by earning gems and completing challenges during the game. These brand new skins are totally accessory and offer bandicoots dozens of extravagant costumes and outfits to wear through the levels, adding an extra layer of madness to the game.

We now leave you to the new demonstration of the game, commented with Italian subtitles: good viewing!
