Ubisoft today announced that, after a brief stint in Open Beta on PC, its futuristic free-to-play Battle Royale Hyper Scape will arrive on our consoles on August 11, at the same time as the game's Season 1 arrives.

Following the trend of major multiplayer titles in recent years, the game will support both cross-play and cross-progress:this means that we can play against PC players or other consoles, and that we can move from one platform to another while maintaining all our progress and statistics.

The announcement is accompanied by a trailer that shows us the contents of Season 1: Good Viewing!
