Jeff Grubb on Xbox: The Initiative won't be there, bomb coming on Game Pass

Now that theXbox Games Showcase, the event where Microsoft will show us many of the games in preparation from its studios for Xbox Series X, has a date, many wonder what we will be shown on that occasion. And today it comes the American insider and journalist Jeff Grubb to offer us some anticipation, obviously strictly unofficial.

Grubb reveals on the pages of the magazine for which he writes, VentureBeat, two important news for Xbox fans who started the countdown ahead of July 23; The first is that, according to the journalist, the new study The Initiative will not be present at the event. Many took it for granted, but according to Grubb Microsoft is not yet ready to show the public the title made by the ambitious Californian studio (which more than one insider claims to be a remake of the FPS of Rare Perfect Dark), also because the studio was born only two years ago and their project is probably not yet ready for the spotlight. If what Grubb says is true, we'll have to wait a little longer to find out what's boiling in The Initiative.

The second anticipation of the journalist is much more positive: it seems that Microsoft will take advantage of the event to announce that a highly anticipated third party title will arrive in the Game Pass shortly after the release. According to Grubb, this game could be nothing less than Cyberpunk 2077: obviously such news would be a real "megaton" for Microsoft's service, and would assure it hundreds of thousands of new subscribers in a very short time.

Just over two weeks to go until the Microsoft event: we just have to count the minutes until then, to find out if these predictions will prove to be true!
