ASTRO: Gaming headsets will be upgraded to support Xbox Series X with no optical output

One of the new things that most made discussion of the new Microsoft console, Xbox Series X, is the absence of an optical audio output that will surely create some problems for those who today connect their console to headphones or hi-fi systems using this format. Fortunately, however, ASTRO headphone owners will have no problems.

The Californian company announced on Twitter that by the launch of Xbox Series X will be released a firmware update for the A50-Base Station, A20 headphones and also for the MixAmp Pro TR that will allow these devices to connect to the console directly via USB, just as it already does on PC, thus making the use of the optical output unnecessary. Great news for owners of these devices!
