Control: Post-launch content plan revealed

505 Games and Remedy Entertainment today revealed Control'spost-launch release plan, which will see the Finnish team add new features and content over the coming months. We will start with the already announced Photo Mode,coming out in the autumn period, to allow us to take perfect snapshots to the beautiful settings of the game; it will then be the turn of the new Expeditions mode and finally, in 2020, two history expansions.

Here are the first details about upcoming content:

  • Photo Mode: Remedy is working this fallon a new free mode that will allow players to take beautiful photos of Jesse inside the Oldest House.
  • New Game Mode: In December, Expeditions will be released, which will include new content in which Jesse must help Arish, the Security Manager, explore the mysteriousFormationand its surroundings. Here lies one of the most challenging challenges within the Oldest House. This content will be free for all players.
  • Expansion: In 2020, two paid expansions,"Foundation" and "EMA", will be released, both of which will include new missions, new teams, new enemies, and new game mechanics, and will be set in new areas within the Oldest House.
    • Foundation will delve into the history of the Oldest House. At the request of the mysterious Board, Jesse must find out what lies in the basement of the Federal Bureau of Control building.
    • EMA,on the other hand, will take place in a new area of the Oldest House, the InvestigationS Sector,where the Bureau carefully studies the Events of the Altered World.

The two expansions will be available for purchase individually, or you can buy the Season Pass that will include both them. The Season Pass and the first expansion will be released first on PS4 and then available on other platforms, while the EMA expansion will be released simultaneously on all platforms.
