The Polish Studio 11 Bit Studios announced that their award-winning and highly acclaimed City builder/Survival Frostpunk will also come to the console this summer, under The Title Frostpunk: Console Edition. For Those who do not know, it is a managerial/sim in which we have to develop and survive a city of end 1800 in a glacial apocalypse.

The game is set in an alternate 1886 where the eruption of different volcanoes and other triggers have thrown the world into a volcanic winter; Temperatures have swooping everywhere, ice and snow have covered the entire Earth's crust and to survive the British government has created some huge coal-fired structures called "generators", whose purpose is to provide energy and heat to new Cities that will develop radially around them.

In This scenario, we embody the head of one of these cities with the aim of developing it, expanding it as much as possible to accommodate more and more people but keeping the resources and the security of the citizens under control. To do this we will have to develop new technologies, explore the territories around the city and decide how to govern our society.
