Bigben Interactive and Frogwares released today a 4-minute film The Sinking City in which we are shown, with subtitles in Italian, the investigative side of this interesting adventure in Cthulhoide background. The game, set in the years 20, will put us in the shoes of detective Charles Reed with the purpose to investigate through the streets of the city to Oakmont to discover the causes of things supernatural and insanity rampant ransacking the city.

In the role of Charles, players have complete freedom in the investigation, being able to rely on observational skills and trusty notebook. Should explore crime scenes, collect information, ask questions to the inhabitants of the city, all without tips or help. While some challenges will be easily solved, other players must make use of the unique skills of Reed, including ' Retrocognition , allowing him to relive the past.

To be successful in the investigation, players must collect clues, figure out what these clues have in common with each other, and try to disprove his theories by using one of the essential tools of the game, called Mental Palace. The building will allow players to build their own assumptions and find potential culprits, but will clarify the player if it is on the right track or not. We must accept the consequences of their choices.
