Rumor: Project Scarlett will include two consoles, a classic and a stream-based

Last E3 Phil Spencer revealed that Microsoft is already working on designing the next Xbox family devices, and via rumor turns out the new console has the codename Scarlett . Now the site Windows Central received from own sources some details about the new "Xbox devices" which will arrive, it is assumed, at the end of 2020.

According to sources of the site, Microsoft would have to work on two consoles to be launched simultaneously: one will be a Classic consoles , like Xbox One S and X, extremely powerful and designed to compete and Excel in performance with the competition; the second one will be a hybrid console stream-based, portable and that probably will use a service code for streaming game now called XCloud to allow us to play our digital titles wherever we are.

Xcloud will not be a classic game streaming service as existing type PS Now, but will use a hybrid technology: the games will turn partly directly on the console, managing locally routine as input and collisions, while other aspects such as graphics rendering and other operations that require a certain power, will be delegated to the cloud. Microsoft intended this type of technology should minimize the typical gaming lag in streaming, making easier the gaming experience. Obviously the console based on this technology would be much less powerful and would cost less, but we also expect that high would play this way – maybe you saw the full title has not finished to download.

Is this really the future of Xbox? A powerful console (and probably expensive) for the most demanding gamers, and an inexpensive but based on the game in streaming for those who want to play anywhere? We'll find out officially only probably at E3 next year, but in the meantime we will continue to bring you all the rumor.
