Please be advised that, surprisingly, CD Projekt RED has just released the update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt through enhancement to Xbox One X . As with many other titles Xbox One X Enhanced , the patch does not include asset 4 k , and is in fact small: only 553 MB .

The improvements introduced by this update are important, however: there is obviously support for 4 k rendering and especially the support HDR (which should also work on Xbox One S). For lovers of maximum fluidity, in addition, the game also introduces a " performance mode " selectable from the options, that sacrifices the resolution (which becomes so dynamic from 1080 p to 4 k) for a frame-rate to 60 fps.

Other than that, the game introduces the new Microsoft console even sharper shadows, better lighting with ambient occlusion, better texture filtering and textures in high resolution (as mentioned above, however, not 4 k: quality improves slightly than standard console).
