You want more Halo on your Xbox One? Well, Microsoft has accommodated by announcing that from now Halo 3 , Halo 3 ODST , Halo 4 and Halo: CE Anniversary entered the game list backwards and you can finally play them on your console or even better , on Xbox One X!

Of Halo 3: ODST is only for the campaign, while the second disc containing the multiplayer mode is backwards compatible, and Halo: CE Anniversary is currently compatible only on disk. Of course we will inform you if this should change.

Please also be advised that, as of today, the DLC for Xbox 360 Halo all are completely free of charge: you can see them on this page . If you have or want to retrieve one of the titles now backwards compatible, have fun!
