Rainbow Six Siege: Ubisoft reveals the free update Operation Black Ice

Ubisoft today announced the new free update " Operation Black Ice " from Rainbow Six: Siege , already available for download. The content adds new weapons, equipment, operators and a new map set in a yacht caught in ice. We leave you to press release by Ubisoft with full details.


Milan, February 2, 2016 — Ubisoft ® Announces free update Operation Black Ice for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six ® Siege is available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.

In order to offer new content to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege on a regular basis, Operation Black Ice includes the new map Yacht, new skins for weapons and two new Canadian special forces operators JTF 2, Frost and Buck. Also, the spectator mode will be available online in custom games for all platforms.

The philosophy post launch of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is aimed at preventing any disparity within the community. All elements of gameplay, maps and game modes will be freely available to all. New entrants and most weapon skins will be unlocked through fame points or credits R6.

Season Pass holders will be able to access for JTF 2 operators, while other players can unlock them using the fame points or credits R6 since February 9.
