Capcom has officially announced that it has begun development of the remake of Resident Evil 2 , reissue of the game released way back in May 8, 1998. " We are delighted to confirm that Resident Evil 2 was approved for development. " said producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi via a video posted on You Tube channel of Resident Evil , continuing " as the title you just entered in the early stages of development we have no further details to share right now. However, now we want our fans to know that we appreciate the feedback and support we received. We look forward to offering this much-anticipated experience Resident Evil that our fans have been waiting for ".

The game is being developed by the in-house R & D Division 1 of Capcom and will be a real remake, created from scratch, and not a remaster in high definizionea as was the case with HD Resident Evil and Resident Evil Zero HD .

Work on the title are still in a primitive State and we will have to wait many months before seeing action in the game and when the software doesn't even specify what platforms will the title.
