NPD: U.S. sales for the month of April

The Agency's analysis of u.s. market NPD today released its usual monthly report on sales in the u.s. market last month. The major surprise of this month is the overtaking Xbox One on PS4: the console Microsoft is the most sold in April. There are no apparent reasons for this result, but it is likely that, as in February and March The Orderform 1886 and Bloodborne pushed sales of the Sony console, in April there was a physiological downturn that has left the field open for Xbox.

On the other hand, however, underlines how the Sony brand PlayStation remains the best-selling: This means that PS4 + PS3 + Life currently sell more than One Xbox 360 + Xbox and Wii U + Wii + 3DS. Unfortunately no official numbers were released to the market hardware, so this time we'll have to settle for this information.

On the front we see software instead are Mortal Kombat X , ranked first with GTA V continues to sell very positioning itself in second place. Interesting to note as Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin sells more on PS4 despite competition from Bloodborne (which does not fall in ranking), while Battlefield: Hardline sells more on Xbox One confirming the preference for the military shooter from Microsoft users. We leave you to complete top 10.
