In a recent interview by IGN portal, Mike Colter, actor who gives voice to Agent Locke in Ridley Scott's " Halo: Nightfall " and Halo 5: Guardians , revealed that Cortana will be present in the fifth chapter of the saga.

The co-star of Halo 5: Guardians Agent Locke will be somehow involved in the legendary combination that brings together Chief and Cortana: it is not clear how the AI that complemented by Master Chief will be introduced due to the events of Halo 4 , but it seems that the writers of the game will find the way to put it in the game, perhaps via some narrative trick as flashbacks or whatever.

What emerged from the interview is that Locke will have a rather important role not only in the next Halo but also in future episodes.
