From blogs to Major Nelson come many new regarding update of October of Xbox One, which is already available to download to preview program participants of the dashboard, while everyone else will come at the beginning of next month. We see in detail what to expect from this full-bodied updating.

New features of Snap and friends

• Snap Updates : has been updated the Snap Center (Also in Italian) to include quick access to several features requested by users while you're playing: friends, messages, DVR, Game clock and battery indicator, as it is easier to open and close the new apps side by side playing. A double-tap of the xbox button opens a menu from which to choose the app to open in snap, that is already open, close or change window between the game and the app running. Two were especially optimized App, friends and messages, which will now quickly to our friends list to see who's online, invite or join someone and of course read or reply to a received message with the conversation that will be available to complete video.
• App objectives : updated so you can share the objectives released, see the list of friends who have already received the same lens and an updated Snap page that shows the objectives released in recent games when the user is not currently engaged in a game.
• Friends Section : the new Friends in Home section will give you the opportunity to get an idea of what friends are doing on the list to stay up to date on their current activities. There will be also some charts that show who has most improved your Gamerscore for the past 30 days.
• SmartGlass new features : you can see a list of your Favorites in your profile, along with those of the most popular among your friends.

Improvements for TV and Video

• Support for DLNA and MKV Media Player : here is a much awaited feature, the ability to access and manage via the DLNA Protocol to all content in our network (which is already currently possible in part through the Play on function of Windows 8). It also introduced support for playing MKV files from Usb devices by streaming from network with DLNA support.
• Xbox One Digital TV Tuner : as previously announced, the attachment will be made available for purchase starting from 21 October. You can then see the digital terrestrial TV on the console and also carry out streaming on tablet or mobile phones via SmartGlass , with all features on the console such as live pause (up to 30 minutes), rewind, change channels without interrupting your gameplay in the console.

Other feature requests

• Updated the page Device and accessories : to access the new page go into settings, here you can find, assign and update the console accessories to specific users. For example, you can assign a specific headset to a user in particular.
• Uopdates Firmware : you can upgrade the firmware of each device individually and it will also be possible to identify a controller causing it to vibrate.
• Hide games and Apps : Now you can hide the objects Ready to be installed in the my games & Apps . The objects will reappear when installed from the Store again. To view the list of hidden games and applications just press X along with two triggers: this will reappear until the exit list from the page.
