One of the features most requested by the owners of the Xbox One is the support for external storage devices such as hard drives and USB sticks; in the past, Microsoft said it would implement such a feature, but without saying if and when it would be finished. Now it seems to be closer than previously thought.

One anonymous Xbox One developer has posted on Reddit (down) in which we see just this feature at work: the free space indicator indicates 585 GB free, as if you had added a second hard drive, and a notification popup explicitly: " external drive -external disk ready ".

It seems then that this request of fans going to be answered: we now find out which update will be submitted to the new feature.
