Xbox One: the fix for the video input PAL arrives in the coming weeks

One of the problems not yet resolved by the Xbox One is handling the HDMI input for the PAL signal: the video that comes in from a decoder for use mainstreaming functions in fact creates television shots and imperfections especially during fast sequences of movies, this is because the console software is calibrated on a refresh rate to 60 Hz input signalsUnlike the standard used in Europe is 50 Hz. To overcome this inconvenience, you're using a system called Frame Rate Conversion (FRC).

In practice you have to set the Xbox One to recognize automatically the HDMI signal, then you need to set the resolution from 1080 p to 720 p. At this point it appears an inscription asking if is correct the viewing and replying "no", Xbox One will think that there is compatibility with the 60 Hz signal passing to 50 Hz. This obviously leads to a deterioration in image quality.

Microsoft today announced they are working to solve the problem and that in a few weeks-probably in early spring-the problem will be resolved with one of the future updates of the console.  We will inform you as soon as we have more details.
