NPD: U.S. sales for the month of January

The Agency's analysis of u.s. market NPD today released its usual monthly report on sales in the u.s. market last month. After the Christmas boom the first month of the year saw a deflation of course sales, due to the absence of notable games.

On the hardware front Sony celebrates the first place in the standings, with a result of "nearly double" compared with what has been done by Xbox One: on the other hand Microsoft sees glass half full announcing that Xbox One is selling 2.29 times faster compared to Xbox 360 in early launch and that the consoles were sold over the two Xbox games are on the market. Doing Accounts Payables, there is speculation that Xbox One has sold about 143,000 console while PS4, having sold almost double, may have reached 250,000 units sold.

Unfortunately this month there are official hardware rankings, so we have to be satisfied with these numbers. We have the software, which we show you below.
