Microsoft: Xbox One cloud could be used to make streaming of Xbox 360 titles

After that this morning we have communicated their intention by Microsoft in reintroducing in the near future the loan and the sale of digital games, there comes now, always through the words of the head of the Xbox Product Planning Albert Brush, an interesting information about the potential of cloud of the Xbox One.

Asked directly by Gamespot, was asked to Brush if the functionality of the Xbox One cloud would allow Microsoft to follow the Sony model with the streaming service of PlayStation 3 titles, Gaikai.

His response was: "You absolutely. This is one of the things that makes cloud totally interesting and hard to describe to people. We just know that it's there and it's developers to create whatever they want. There are so many things that our server Azure are able to do. We do not exclude that in the future, studying very well the various services and production costs, we can offer the end user the ability to play Xbox 360 titles on Xbox One ".

All this, however, only in a theoretical way, considering that cloud gaming services like Gaikai depend greatly on user bandwidth capacity, as Sony itself recently noticed . It seems, however, that, thanks to the cloud, the future of the Xbox One will be rich in new features and possibilities in addition to the already announced.
