Don Mattrick: Xbox One will not be always on

In an interview granted to post-event Geoff Keighley of Spike TV, Don Mattrick has finally silenced one of the most insistent voices of the last period: Xbox One does not will require an internet connection for this to work.

" No, Xbox One will not be always on. You can play a single-player title without any problems, but of course you will not be able to take advantage of the new opportunities and new services offered by console, such as Xbox LIVE, interactive TV and Skype ".
