Rumor: Microsoft will bring Woodstock at E3

Here's a new indiscretion on the Microsoft E3 announcements, but nothing that has to do with hardware or games this time: the u.s. The Verge website States that, according to reliable sources, one of the ads from the House of Redmond will cover the new Woodstock . It will be a music service that will replace definitively Zune and will be enjoyed by both Xbox 360 and Windows 8, Windows Phone, Android, iOS and any device with a web browser.

According to sources of The Verge, the service will be deeply integrated with Facebook and allow friends to share music tracks or playlists and will also have a feature similar to that of the popular app Spotify : just listen to an extract of any song to locate within your library.

For now it is just a rumor but it seems plausible, but could certainly fit in perfectly with the other rumor according to which MS would be about to announce an Xbox Lite as a multimedia set-top box. To know the truth we will have to wait just over a month, when all will be revealed at 2.
