From San Diego Comic Con 2011 also comes a demo for the fantasy action game The Lord of the Rings: War in the North. The title is set in Middle-earth with the various races engaged in the war against the Dark Sire Sauron and his followers, while the Fellowship of the Ring goes south to try to destroy the ring. We will control three main characters, Andriel the elf, the dwarf and the human Eradan Farin that we will at our option at the beginning of each level.

The video shows us a mission that requires the city to attack the fall of Fornost overrun by orcs. At our disposal we have several weapons such as throwing knives, crossbows, swords, axes, we will have different spells and abilities that will help us against stronger enemies. From the video we learn that the game also allows an increased level in which we can choose different features to increase, the choice of weapons and equipment to use and to acquire various skills, thereby demonstrating that the game also has RPG elements.
