Valve has revealed new details about the first expansion of Left 4 Dead 2 called The Passing: content we will reuse the survivors of the first episode with the cast of the second for a new series of missions in single, multiplayer and co - op. The new content will be released only for Xbox 360 and PC probably in early spring.

The Passing will also contain new arenas for the Survival mode, Versus and Scavenge, plus introduce a new challenge for the cooperative mode.
