During the E3 Microsoft has announced that the Xbox Design Lab , an interesting service that allows us to customize a Xbox One controller, had arrived in Europe but that some countries, including Italy, would have to wait to use it. In reality the custom pad Design Lab are sortable now also in Italy: we tried it with success and we explain how to do it.

Our editor Valerio "Sonakin" Tosetti has wanted to experience the thing, getting just yesterday her custom theme Sonic controller (although many may say that came out more themed Fallout, but that's another story).

How to place your order is as follows: first you need to create your own custom design using the English website of the Design Lab , where you can just login with your Live profile. Choose the colors of all components, any rear grip and front screen, and you're ready to make your order. As shipping address when ordering put your normal Italian address, but as a means of payment will require a credit card UK. At this point, all you have to do is insert your credit card, but in the billing address, while putting your normal address, you must enter a CAP English (Valerio used " E12 6SB") and insert GB (Great Britain) as a country.

That done, you're in business: the order will be accepted and the controller will start via courier from the production facility in China (all leave from there, even those ordered in USA) to arrive safely to your door!

The price of the controller will vary depending on which customizations you decide and the presence of any offers, however be prepared to spend an amount varying between the 80 and 100 Euros depending on your customizations. Obviously the price will be given in pounds that you then convert.
