Bandai Namco announces video game adaptation of TenSura

Bandai Namco today announced That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: ISEKAI Chronicles, a 2D side-scrolling action-RPG that adapts the anime series of the same name known among fans as TenSura for short.

Expected digitally on August 8, players will follow leader Rimuru Tempest and his companions as they create a new nation, the Jura Tempest Federation, from scratch and develop it.

The game follows the events of the original story, such as encounters with the Kijin and the battle against the Kingdom of Falmuth, making it a perfect way to discover the universe for the first time. But there will also be two additional exclusive stories overseen by the original author, Fuse, accompanied by some new characters created by the series' illustrator, creating a new experience that is sure to win over even long-time fans.

Leaving the city, players will be able to explore the world of Tempest, where fiery boss and opponent battles await, using the same dynamic techniques and combos as in the anime series. Back in the city, they'll be able to take on some side quests, helping their teammates while strengthening their bonds and combat skills.

We leave you with the announcement trailer and a set of images: enjoy.
