Microsoft will begin to admonish and penalizing unfair players on Xbox One

Microsoft had already announced in July 2013 which Xbox One would have introduced a new reputation system of online players to penalise inappropriate or vulgar users; a new update on Xbox Wire informs us that the time has come to start this system.

Microsoft explains that the reputation system divides players into three categories dealt with in distinct ways:

  • Good players  (good players)-Are those players with a good reputation, who received a low number of negative reports, for which the coming weeks will introduce a system of rewards to encourage fair and correct behaviour on Live.
  • Needs work (needs work)-starting this month, players who suffer the reputation drops following numerous reports (collections since launching Xbox One) will receive a warning message from Xbox, in which informs them of the impact of their behaviour on the community and encourages them to take on best behaviour.
  • Avoid me (evitatemi)-If, after receiving warnings, players continue to be reported for misconduct, will begin to suffer the penalties on Live. These may be in the form of limitations to matchmaking, the inability to pass on Twitch, and so on.

As stated previously, Microsoft still wanted to reiterate that the reputation of a user will not be lowered to simple reports of few players that maybe they do to pique, but only when certain behaviors will be reported by a large number of players over several months, when I mean there will be an extensive casuistry in which can act with the penalties.
