We already knew that the Xbox One will introduce a new proprietary socket to connect the headphones with microphone, and to operate the existing serivrà headphones an adaptor . Now comes the news that this adapter will be available in the first quarter of 2014, so until that time who already has headphones for gaming has two options.

The first is accessible only by those with headphones can be connected to the console via optical cable: they will continue to connect to the console in this way, but will not for now use the microphone for voice chat.
