Gachiakuta: Breakout returns to be seen with a new footage presented during the XBOX show at the Tokyo Game Show, which finally allows us to take a concrete look at the gameplay of the video game adaptation of the famous series. After an announcement that had immediately intrigued fans of the anime, the Com2uS project thus comes alive, and the original work seems to lend itself particularly well to the transition to the video game.

The title is presented as a survival-tinged action-RPG, in which we will have to enter areas populated by monsters, complete a series of objectives and finally be able to reach a safe area. The new video focuses above all on the combat system, based on real-time clashes with a fast pace. The attacks and visual effects that we will see in battle are inspired directly by the skills of the characters of the series, so as to restore their fighting style.

One of the most important challenges for Gachiakuta: Breakout, however, will be to be able to do justice to Gachiakuta's unmistakable style. Both the manga and the animated series made by Bones Film stand out for a world built between waste and abandoned objects, as well as for a visual identity that strongly recalls the art of graffiti. The game chooses to embrace this aesthetic with stylized 3D graphics, designed to remain as faithful as possible to the anime.
