Rumor: the XBOX Store is preparing to activate the deferred payment of games
According to what was discovered by user X redphx, the system could soon introduce a flexible payment option based on the formula of "buy now, pay later". This feature would allow everyone to defer the cost of digital purchases over weeks or months, offering more elastic and accessible expense management than in the past.
The rumors also delve into the ways in which we will be able to use this service, which would rely on widespread external circuits such as PayPal and Klarna. In the event that we decide to use PayPal, we would have the option of dividing the amount into four twice-weekly installments at zero interest, or extending the amortization plan up to a maximum of 24 months. Those who prefer to rely on Klarna, on the other hand, could divide the expense into three total installments: the first would be paid immediately at the time of the transaction, while the next two would start every 30 days.
At the moment an official announcement from Microsoft has not yet arrived, but if this news were to be confirmed and released publicly, it would undoubtedly be a very convenient option, capable of guaranteeing us greater freedom of choice when we decide to buy new digital content.
