Captain Tsubasa 2 World Fighters: new trailer dedicated to game mechanics
Once we take the field, we will be able to experience a series of significantly improved basic mechanics. We will be able to perform more intuitive dribbles and launch into last-gasp tackles. In addition to this, we will have to learn to master an entirely renewed and resistance-based parry system, a novelty that will transform every single attempt at the net into a real tactical clash. Our goal will be to charge the shot to the maximum to overcome the defenses of the opponent's extreme defender, performing highly spectacular moves.
Among the new features introduced in Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters, several new systems designed to enormously enrich the gameplay stand out. For example, we will have the opportunity to take advantage of Max Actions, extremely powerful moves but characterized by a high risk coefficient, perfect for dominating the offensive and defensive transition phases obtaining considerable advantages. Of course, the classic Super Moves, i.e. specific skills for each position (forwards, midfielders or defenders), which include super shots, prodigious passes, lightning-fast dribbles and devastating tackles, will not be missing.
The new Chain System will instead allow us to accumulate precious momentum by chaining passes, dribbling and special abilities, in order to significantly increase both the loading speed and the destructive power of our final shot. On the opposite side, the Goalkeeper Tactics will introduce an innovative system for predicting shots based on six directions, giving rise to endurance duels that will also feature breaking mechanics, capable of permanently reducing the goalkeeper's energy. Finally, we will find the Miracle Actions: rare but formidable moments that will allow us to make sensational comebacks, turning the tide of a match and fully capturing all the unpredictability typical of the original work.
Between miraculous saves on the razor's edge and shots in the air that defy the laws of physics, each match promises to be a real cinematic battle imbued with passion, tactics and quick reflexes. In Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters we will be called upon to challenge legendary rivals on the global stage, with the clear intention of conquering the most coveted championship.
Reminding you that the title is expected during 2026, we leave you with the new footage; enjoy!
