LEGO Batman: The Dark Knight's Legacy will return to show itself at TGA
The news comes directly from the game's official account, which shared an image depicting Batman in a LEGO version intent on guarding a poster of Geoff Keighley's show. This will therefore be an opportunity to break the press silence that has shrouded the project in recent months, getting closer and closer to the release scheduled for 2026.
The title, originally revealed during the last gamescom, is proposed as a love letter to the DC franchise, offering an original story that takes up the most iconic moments of the series. Compared to the past, the game seems to want to focus less on the immeasurable amount of playable characters to focus more on the quality of the experience: we will in fact be able to explore an open-world Gotham City and take advantage of a combat system inspired by the Arkham series, features that had already convinced the press during the closed-door tests of the German fair, where the title had been defined as fun and with great potential.
It has not yet been specified what exactly will be shown on stage, but it is very likely that we will be able to admire new gameplay sequences and hopefully receive a more precise launch window for 2026 or, perhaps, an exact date. We just have to wait for the night between Thursday and Friday to find out what the new LEGO Batman: The Dark Knight's Legacy has in store for us!
