The Skyrim-like Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon announces its first major expansion
The plot will see us follow a hidden passage that opens a path to the past, allowing us to investigate the fate of Sarras and his rebel crew, a story shrouded in myth for over six hundred years. In this plot we will have to follow the trail of Nimue and the deserters who dared to challenge King Arthur, trying to reconstruct the truth behind their mysterious disappearance and the terrible punishment inflicted on them by Merlin.
The expansion will invite us to explore an underwater world where ancient structures emerge from changing currents, while forgotten paths pulsate with life. In addition to the new setting, Sanctuary of Sarras will introduce a new progression system that transforms the usual journey through Avalon: underwater enemies will scale according to our level, ensuring that each encounter remains tense and challenging. We will also find sacred shrines that, once activated, will weaken enemies and grant us points to invest in three completely new skill trees. An interesting feature will be the ability to choose at any time which tree to activate, allowing us to reshape our build on the fly to adapt it to the needs of the moment.
In terms of content, the developers promise about 15 hours of new gameplay, during which we will be able to venture into more than 20 meticulously crafted dungeons and interiors. We'll meet new characters with their own stories, we'll have to decide whether to help them or not, and we'll face unique epic bosses and new opponents. To enrich the experience there will be over 100 new pieces of equipment, including armor sets, weapons, rings, amulets, relics and spells to enhance our character.
The release of Sanctuary of Sarras is set very shortly, for December 15, 2025, at a price of 14,99 Euros. We leave you with the announcement trailer and a set of images; enjoy!
