On the occasion of the Xbox Partner Preview broadcast today, the team at Eclipse Glow Games showed a new, spectacular trailer for Tides of Annihilation, the action-adventure set in a modern and fragmented version of London. In the game we will play as Gwendolyn, the only human survivor of an otherworldly invasion, engaged in the search for the Holy Grail to save her sister and restore the world.

The video focuses on one of the fundamental features of the title: the Dual Frontline Battle System. This mechanic will allow us to summon and command the ghostly forms of the Knights of the Round Table, using their unique attacks and customizable abilities. The developers emphasize that the knights will not be simple tools, but real companions ready to assist us in our enterprise, and we will be able to exchange them freely even in the middle of combos to vary combat tactics, taking advantage of defensive shields or time arrests, for example.

The trailer culminates in an intense boss fight against the witch Tyronoe, showcasing the team's cinematic inspiration, derived from iconic action scenes from films such as Inception, The Matrix and Dr. Strange. When the witch creates a "Bent Realm" made of mirrors and transforms into a gigantic beast, Sir Lamorak comes into action: in this phase we will have to control both Gwendolyn and the knight simultaneously, operating in and out of the mirror to break the enemy dimensional barriers thanks to the knight's spear.

The game's story promises to offer a fresh perspective on Arthurian legends, weaving the fates of lesser-known characters such as Sir Lamorak and Tyronoe into a tale of valor and madness.
