Ninja Gaiden 4: The Two Masters DLC announced

There are now just over two weeks left for the launch of Ninja Gaiden 4, but PlatinumGames and Team Ninja are already looking to the future, announcing the first DLC of the game. In an interview granted to the Official Xbox Podcast, producer Yuji Nakao and director Masazaku Hirayama revealed the existence of The Two Masters DLC, which is scheduled for release in early 2026.

The expansion will introduce a new story set after the conclusion of the base game, which we will be able to experience from both Ryu's and Yakumo's point of view. In addition to the story, the pack will also include additional post-game challenges separate from those present in the main title, thus offering a considerable amount of content to try our hand at.

The news is not limited to this: The Two Masters will also add new weapons for both protagonists. Ryu will be able to equip gauntlets similar to pliers, while Yakumo will get an imposing scythe. The developers have specified that each weapon will be equipped with "distinctive qualities" and a "plethora of mechanics" that we will have to learn to master to make the most of them.

We remind you that Ninja Gaiden 4 is expected for October 21 and will be available from launch day in the Game Pass Ultimate catalog; The Two Masters DLC will be included in the Deluxe Edition of the game or via separate purchase.
