Bandai Namco announced at TGS the release date of Code Vein II, the new chapter of the action-RPG that will arrive on January 30, 2026, also releasing new details about the game and a long demonstration of the gameplay.

The title will immerse us in a future where the last remnants of humanity and the Revenants fight against a world on the verge of collapse. The adventure will begin following the sudden appearance of a threat known as the Luna Rapacis, which has driven the Revenants mad by transforming them into terrifying creatures called Horrors. In this bleak scenario we will take on the role of a Revenant Hunter, guided by a mysterious girl named Lou who possesses the power to travel to the past to rewrite the fate of the world and stop its inevitable collapse.

We will thus embark on a journey that extends through two eras, the present and the past, where our decisions will have weight and each battle will test our skill. Our task will be to intervene at key moments in history to alter the fate of important characters, thus revealing truths and hidden information to save the future that awaits us.

On the gameplay front, Code Vein II will feature unique mechanics in which we will have to drain the blood of enemies to unlock a series of powerful abilities. We will be able to build our combat strategy with Blood Codes and use unique weapons and equipment called Jails to overcome challenging enemies and epic bosses. The new build system will also allow us to freely customize weapons and abilities to suit our playstyle.

We will not be alone in this adventure: we will be able to forge bonds with powerful allies who will fight alongside us and improve our skills. Each companion will offer unique abilities and deep narrative connections that will shape our journey.
