Activision today gives us an in-depth look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 7's highly anticipated Multiplayer mode, coming on November 14. The new chapter is set to redefine the rules of combat with substantial innovations in movement, a huge selection of maps, and new game modes, setting a new standard for the series.

Multiplayer

An Arsenal of Maps at Launch Black Ops 7 will be coming to launch with an unprecedented map offering:

• 16 new 6v6 maps: Designed from the ground up, these arenas will offer a wide variety of settings and playstyles.
• The Return of a Classic: Among the 6v6 maps, the presence of a completely reimagined version of Raid, the famous and beloved map of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, updated to take advantage of the new game mechanics, is confirmed.
• Grand Battles: Also included will be two large maps designed for 20v20 pitched combat, offering an all-out warfare experience with vehicles and strategic objectives.

The Evolution of Movement and New Modalities The Multiplayer gameplay has been enhanced to ensure a freedom of action never seen before:

• Enhanced Omnimovement: The heart of the innovation is an advanced movement system that introduces wall jumps. This mechanic will allow players to take advantage of the verticality of the maps, create new flanking routes and move with surprising fluidity and speed.
• New "Skirmish" mode: A new game mode called "Skirmish" is introduced. While details are still under wraps, it promises to bring a breath of fresh air to playlist rotations.

Presentation and Early Access Events Fans won't have to wait long to see the game in action and experience it for themselves:

• Call of Duty Next: The global presentation event, which will reveal in detail the Multiplayer and Zombies mode, is set for September 30, 2025.
• Open Beta: A beta open to all players will be held from October 2 to October 8, 2025.
• Early Access to the Beta: Players who pre-order the game or who are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass will be able to access the beta early starting October 2.
