Bethesda may have finally unveiled the title of the next Starfield expansion, on the occasion of the game's second anniversary. In a celebratory post published on social media, the team showed a message that is disturbed by an intermittent inscription: Terran Armada.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting news about the game's second major expansion for several months now, and although Bethesda had repeatedly hinted at its arrival, this is the first concrete clue we receive, although it is only a name.

What could Terran Armada mean? The term "Terran" clearly refers to Earth, while "Armada" indicates a massive fleet of ships. As we know from the lore of Starfield, our home planet has become a wasteland following the collapse of its atmosphere - caused by the use of technology for hyperlight jumps - which forced humanity into a mass exodus to the stars.

Terran Armada could therefore indicate that the new expansion is connected to this fleet that left Earth, and that will perhaps bring us back to tread the soil of our planet, leading us to discover new pieces of the history of humanity.
