Leak suggests Japan as location for Forza Horizon 6
The rumor comes from a post, later deleted, published on Instagram by the Australian car import company Cult & Classic. The post showed an image of a member of the Forza Horizon team scanning a "Kei car". These cars, the smallest approved for circulation on Japanese expressways, are common vehicles in the Land of the Rising Sun, but extremely rare outside its borders.
The fact that the development team has taken the trouble to scan them indicates a clear desire to faithfully reproduce them in the game: the presence of these specific vehicles would be essential to accurately recreate Japanese roads, and their scanning suggests not only that we will encounter them as part of city traffic, but also that we will probably be able to buy and drive them. The Japanese setting, on the other hand, has been one of the most requested by the series' community for years, thanks to its iconic status in street racing culture, also celebrated by films such as The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift.
To give further weight to these rumors there is the recent confirmation by Phil Spencer that a new chapter of the series will arrive in 2026. Of course, until an official announcement from the developers, this remains a rumor to be taken with due caution.
