Milestone today released a new video of Screamer, a new Japanese-inspired arcade racing game, coming in 2026. In the video, the Italian studio presented the first of the five teams that will battle it out in this new arcade racing game, the Green Reapers.

Screamer promises to be a title based on speed, strategy and brutal combat. In the game we will have to take part in an underground racing tournament on the streets of an anime-inspired metropolis, challenging four other rival teams. Each team will consist of a leader and two domestics, ready to do anything to help their captain cross the finish line.

The first team presented, the Green Reapers, is made up of former mercenaries united by a past in high-risk operations. In command we will find Hiroshi Jackson, an individual with an intense character with a cybernetic arm, marked by losses and second chances. At his side will be Frederic Barthelemy, a hothead perpetually on the hunt for new thrills, and Róisín Garrity, a lethal assassin trained to kill from a young age.

Although the three have no experience on the track, their ability to survive, gained through wars and chaos, makes them fearsome opponents. The Green Reapers do not participate in the tournament for fame or glory, but for a much deeper and more personal goal, which will push them to redefine their identity.
