The cyberpunk FPS DEFECT is in development for consoles
The Texan studio has in fact revealed that it has secured important funding from several partners, including the Korean giant NCSOFT, which will allow it to expand the development team and the inspirations of the game, starting development on consoles as well.
DEFECT is a team-based cyberpunk shooter with immersive elements, set in a dystopian world where the city is under the control of AI police forces. Here we will face factions of rebel gangs in intense clashes, both in single player and multiplayer modes. The music will be created by Mick Gordon, well-known composer of DOOM, Borderlands 3 and Prey.
While waiting to see more of the game (the studio is working on the gameplay reveal), we leave you below the announcement trailer of last summer.
