Xbox November Update is available: Discord integration, clip manager, and more

Microsoft today announced the release of the Xbox November Update, which brings with it some interesting news for the console's operating system. The first is the integration with Discord voice chat: now you can chat with your friends on Discord directly from the console, a very useful feature for cross-play titles and for those who still prefer Discord to Xbox Live chat. To use it you will need to link your Discord account, as explained here.

Another long-awaited novelty is a first step forward in the management of clips captured on the console, a function that has been left behind for too long. Now through the new Captures app, accessible from the Capture & Share tab of the Panel or from My games & apps, you can view all the captured clips, manage, edit them and copy them directly to an external USB disk. Also on Xbox Series X|S has been improved the quality of clips captured at 720p and 1080p, which now use a higher bitrate.

There's also an improvement in the console's Store: now if you share your wishlist with friends and family, they will have the option to give you one of the games on the list, sending you the code to redeem directly. In addition, notification of discounts and offers related to the games you have on the list has been introduced.

But that's not all: other news concern new energy saving options, the ability to start a live broadcast also on Lightstream and Streamlabs as well as on Twitch and support for the vibration of the controller in titles played via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

As always, the update will start automatically within the next day, or you can start it manually from the system settings.
